• the incidence of cross-reactivity between penicillins and cephalosporins: it's all about the side chains
• the importance of taking a good allergy history: knowing the individual medicine that caused the reaction, rather than the class, is more useful
• the role of rechallenge and testing: who can be safely re-challenged
